MISSION STATEMENT

We are called to strengthen our faith and sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness to the world.

PURPOSE

As women called to discipleship to grow in the knowledge and experience of God through Jesus Christ, committed to support the mission of the church, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to help one another engage in ministry and action, and grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the society and the world.

FOCUS

The Mary M. Kidd Women’s Missionary Society and the Young People’s and Children’s Division of the Church, support the ministries to carry out God’s mission in the church and society. The society supports the works and activities of the Area, Conference, Episcopal District and Connectional levels.

The society is currently supporting the Women’s Veteran’s Shelter, Women’s Shelter dealing with Domestic Violence, visiting convalescent homes and supporting our Youth Ministry and College Students.

COMMISION ON MEMBERSHIP & RECRUITMENT

We welcome new members to join us on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 in the morning, to work with us doing mission works and service to God through His son, Jesus Christ.
